  • Aside from Rioja, the most notable regions for Tempranillo are Ribera del Duero and Toro where the variety assumes the names Tinta Fina and Tinta de Toro respectively. Over time, due to different climatic conditions and genetic adaptations, they have developed different characteristics, producing bunches with smaller berries, which translates in more power and concentration.
